Kay Beisse - Research
Kay spent 25 years as a practicing school psychologist in K-12 public schools and 15 years as a faculty member in Seattle University’s School Psychology program. During her career, she developed curricula and programs in support of effective family-school collaboration. She delivered strength-based consultation to programs serving students with disabilities, youth in foster care, and families with young adolescents. During retirement, Kay has kept busy with volunteer activities, RV excursions, and international travel. She delights in family gatherings, and loves to watch her four great-grandchildren grow and thrive.
